Dave Brown is the Director and Pastor-at-Large of the Washington Area Coalition of Men's Ministry. Dave and Mike discuss what it takes to engage the men in our community and the importance to speak into future generations. Dave worked in the Federal Government system for 25 years before he was called into full-time ministry to reach the men in the Washington, DC area. He now heads the oldest and largest coalition of local men's ministry in the nation.

Brian Battle is a Men's Ministry Leader in his local church. He doesn't have a ministry outside his church nor has written a book, but he has a heart to help men grow in their relationship with Christ. He is like many men in the local church seeking to make an impact. He is Mike's guest on this episode sharing his story of coming to Christ and how he was led into ministering to men. His story is one of encouragment for men in the local church to take that first step in leading men in a respective church to grow in Christ.

Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri recently wrote, "All is not well with men in this country. The numbers tell the tale. Men are lonelier than ever before. They're dropping out of the labor force .... They're struggling more with drug abuse and alcohol. They increasingly forego a college education, even as they delay getting married and having kids."
